Tweed Bait Tips for catching Snapper

Selecting the right bait for Snapper

They will take most baits presented to them however for best results try Pilchards, Prawns, White Pilchards, Bonito, Anchovies, Garfish and Mullet Fillets.

Selecting the right rig

When fishing deep water try a 2-hook paternoster rig using between a 4/0 – 8/0 circle hook, in medium depths use a simple running sinker and leader. When Float lining you can use an unweighted or weighted (depending on the current) bait drifting into a burley trail.
