Why can’t I buy the small river prawns anymore?
Due to the white spot prawn disease in Morten Bay, Clarence River and Evans Head, there is a control order in place meaning we’re not permitted to catch or transport prawns from these areas to be used as bait. For the most up-to-date information, please refer to the NSW and QLD fisheries websites.
