The history of “Tweedy” the Tweed Bait logo 

Raymond Lederhose, the founder of Tweed Bait, had a daughter named Julie who had a passion for drawing cartoons and sketching various things. One day, as Mr. Lederhose walked past Julie, he noticed her drawing a cartoon featuring a man wearing a skipper’s hat. Impressed by the creativity, he asked Julie to add a fishing rod to the character’s hand. This decision marked the beginning of history.

Mr. Lederhose adopted Julie’s creation as the official Tweed Bait logo, and “Tweedy” has remained unchanged for over 50 years.
